PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The Bihor County Council has in view the development and improvement of the healthcare services by building two emergency healthcare centers in the mountain area, in Padis and Stana de Vale, which will be coordinated by the Salvaspeo Bihor County Mountain Rescue Department. The centers will have two off-road vehicles, vehicles for ensuring the land transportation capacity of the intervention teams of SJSSBH and its capacity to evacuate victims of accidents; medical equipment for ensuring that first aid is granted on field to the tourists that sustain injuries and are sick, including their immobilization for transportation purposes; communication, navigation and IT equipment for ensuring the operative intervention framework; as well as the technical equipment specific to the mountain and cave rescue interventions, which will be used by the members of the teams who provide the emergency healthcare/permanent healthcare services. At the same time, the aim is to improve the medical and rescue services by purchasing search and rescue medical equipment, which will be provided free of charge to the associate partner “Crișana” Emergency Inspectorate of Bihor, Bihor Emergency, Intensive Care and Extrication Mobile Service. It is the only structure of the Bihor County that has the professionally competent human resources for using such devices.

The Berettyóújfalu Local Government will provide medical equipment to a patient recovery and rehabilitation healthcare center within the Gróf Tisza István Hospital.

The Oradea City will implement the remote healthcare system (all medical units within that project will be connected to the remote healthcare system) and will endow the Oradea County Emergency Hospital and the “Gavril Curteanu” Clinical City Hospital with certain medical devices: two digital Xray devices, two video laryngoscopy devices with LCD screen and data storage, an angiograph device, an emergency CT device, and a CT scintigraphy device for oncology and endocrine diagnoses, and will provide 10 beds to an ICU.

The Marghita City, Salonta City, Aleşd Town, and Beiuş City will purchase each two ultrasounds devices and a digital Xray device for the local hospitals.

The University of Oradea, by the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy, will rebuild a building for opening the Continuous Training Center for practical skills in the healthcare area.
